Bravwel Engagement
Behind The Scenes: Bravwel Engagement
Last month, we had the privilege of participating in what I call "A super sneaky, fake DIY floral shoot turned SURPRISE engagement for one of the cutest couples ever!"
Our dear friend Ala with Love Ala (who takes a majority of the photos here on The Design Hunters) is best friends with another wedding and lifestyle photographer here in Los Angeles, Megan Welker. Well, Megan's boyfriend Adam asked for assistance in proposing to his leading lady. We agreed to the job in a heartbeat!
So the day started out with Kat and I at the flower mart early in the a.m. We packed our car with rugs and baskets from our prop closet and on our way to the gorgeous Malibu location we went. Ala and Adam planned it perfectly. We really didn't need a lot of goodies to pull off what Megan thought was a photo shoot for our websites. After a long walk up to the site, we got moving.... all while Adam was hiding behind a tree.
Ala captured a few photos of us in our element, which was so sweet! Typically when we are in the zone setting up special moments, the last thing we are thinking about are taking pictures. However, Ala is good like that and got some pretty Behind The Scenes images of us in action with flowers.
Now comes the BEST part! There is Megan with our ginormous Restoration Hardware brass scissors cutting flowers, being the really great DIY hand model that she is....
AND then looking off into the distance, posing like a vicky secret model...
AND then here comes Adam. I'll stop talking now, just scroll and smile :)
How cute are they? Naturally after all the smiles and tears happened, we made them pose with the massive wild garland we created.
All in all the day was so beautiful and now the happy couples lives happily ever after. Follow their wedding process and journey on their new blog, Bravwel.
